Active ingredient: omeprazole

The presence of food decreases the rate (Cmax) and extent (AUC 0->infinity) absorption of omeprazole in more than 40% compared to fasting values[1][2]. This same phenomenon occurs with similar medicines such as lansoprazole and esomeprazole[3].

For this reason, it is advisable to take it fasting.
