Active ingredient: sertraline

The bioavailability and absorption rate of sertraline increase slightly but consistently if the drug is taken with food. Nevertheless, this drug can be administered with or without food, according to the findings of a study on sertraline pharmacokinetics carried out by researchers from the company manufacturer[1].

Grapefruit juice increases the peak plasma concentration and AUC of sertraline, as is clear from the results of studies in healthy volunteers. This fact should be considered in patients receiving antidepressant[2][3].
