There is little information about the influence of cefaclor during lactation, although the only risk with some probability of occurring is the appearance of diarrhea or candidiasis.

Cefaclor is probably a drug with little risk of reaching an inappropriately high level in the infant or accumulate in the body of this, given its short half-life and its modest concentration in milk secretion.

Warning of the manufacturer:

Cefaclor is excreted in breast milk; by this reason, should not be administered to lactating women.
