Recommendations

Probably, doses equal to or less than 10 mg do not cause disturbances in breastfed babies, according to the few published observations. However, given the low level of reported studies, it is better to use other antipsychotic drugs.

With other similar medicines (phenothiazines), there has been a considerable number of cases of galactorrhea in women.

Warning of the manufacturer:

The phenothiazines are excreted in breast milk. Not to be used in mothers breastfed children.
